There has been an inn on this site since 1385; whilst much has been updated since then this remains a 'chocolate box' pub and amongst our wide and varied offering you have the choice of 9 well appointed letting rooms, fantastic local cask ales and delicious home-cooked food. This is a gorgeous pub situated in a truly fascinating area close to the world famous Jurassic Coast.
Food and Drink
We pride ourselves on our good value range of pub classics enhanced each day by a selection of speciality dishes, particularly locally caught fish.
Our team are dedicated to producing a broad range of home cooked food - from good old ‘pub’ favourites to superb quality, imaginative cuisine. We only use the best produce, locally sourced wherever possible.

Facilities
Our car park, entrance, dining/drinking areas and function room all offer easy access for disabled customers and the less mobile.
Accommodation
Our 9 en-suite bedrooms all come with crisp white linen, bright white towels, comfy beds, power showers and endless amounts of steaming hot water to help relax and de-stress after a busy day. All rooms are on the first floor except for Packhorse which is on the ground floor with twin beds and a wet room.
Opening Times
We are open from 09.00 daily for Breakfasts and Coffee then stay open all day until 11pm.
